Tucson Velodrome Youth Programs and Junior Development Racing Academy
The Tucson Velodrome is Arizona’s premier Olympic-style 250-meter bicycle racing track — offering a safe and controlled environment for track cycling year-round in the heart of the Southwest’s cycling capital.
We are deeply committed to growing the sport of track cycling and developing the next generation of riders. Tucson Velodrome youth cycling programs welcome youth riders ages 7 to 17 at every skill level — from complete beginners who have never ridden a fixed-gear bike on a velodrome, to intermediate riders building confidence and technique, to our advanced Junior Development Racing Academy designed to prepare riders for national and international competition.
